Harpers of Chiswick: British Property Awards 2022 Gold Winner
Sep 7, 2022
Harpers of Chiswick has just won The British Property Award for Chiswick. The team performed outstandingly throughout the extensive judging period, which focused on customer service levels.
As a result, the firm has now been shortlisted for a number of national awards to be announced later in the year.
The British Property Awards provide agents throughout the UK with an opportunity to compare the service that they provide against that provided by their competitors - locally, regionally and nationally.
Awarded to Estate Agents who go that extra mile...
... and provide outstanding levels of customer service. This accolade acts as a beacon to highlight these attributes to the local marketplace in the W4 area.
The British Property Awards: "We passionately believe that agents who provide a fantastic service and go that extra mile for their clients, should be recognised and rewarded. Agents are independently assessed against a set of 25 criteria, most of which is overlooked by their clients, particularly before they decide to get in contract with an agent."
In an increasingly crowded marketplace, winning estate agents are separated from the herd.
It is crucial to have points of difference and highlight outstanding customer service. With an ever more sceptical consumer, agents are not always taken at their word, so this accolade acts as an independent point of difference to show potential clients that Harpers of Chiswick may be the right agent to sell their home.
This award is recognition for the hard work put in by husband-and-wife team, Christian and Gill Harper.
Christian: “As you can imagine Gill and I are delighted to be recognised as Gold winners in a crowded Chiswick property market. While some agents focus on volume, which inevitably leads to a lower standard of service for all, we are 100% focused on delivering a unique quality of service to a smaller number of highly valued clients.
“We are the only two people to show your property to interested parties and the only people to negotiate on your behalf. There are no Saturday staff or part-time job sharers.”
Christian is a qualified building surveyor, Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and an active licensed member of the Associate of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA). This all contributes to the firm’s ‘Gold Standard' customer service and certainly reduces aborted sales.
Christian believes this Gold award recognises the beginning of an industry change in Chiswick: “Clients no longer seek high-street multi-chain brands, often employing less experienced staff dealing with multiple properties and little time to focus on each one.”
