The happiest places to live in London

If the capital was split into two with the River Thames acting as the dividing line between north and south London, where are people happiest?

London is home to many unique boroughs and neighbourhoods, with their own special identities and communities.

In Rightmove’s latest Happy at Home survey, locations north and south London have tied when it comes to ranking among the top 10 happiest places to live.

Local residents have given the highest scores to five north-of-the-river boroughs and five in the south. And a west London location has nabbed the top spot.

The highest placed London area in the survey is Richmond upon Thames, home to Kew Gardens and to the largest of London’s Royal Parks – Richmond Park with its famous deer. The top ten happiest London locations are:
