Bring Pantone’s 'Colour of the Year 2024' into your home and garden

Jan 16, 2024
Pantone announced ‘Peach Fuzz’ as Colour of the Year. Following last year’s obsession with Barbie pink, this latest colour has evolved from loud and invigorating into warm and welcoming for 2024.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Pantone Colour of the Year programme and their predictions have become less about what colours to use on your walls and more a reflection of the global mood and aspirations of the time.
Peach Fuzz is a soft, orange-pink colour that 'captures our desire to nurture ourselves and others', says Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director at Pantone Color Institute.
Cosmopolitan - HOW TO INCORPORATE PEACH FUZZ DECOR INTO YOUR HOME
Pantone’s latest choice shows a shift towards colours that provide us with warmth and comfort. It was inevitable that after years of craving the bold and uplifting (magenta, periwinkle, grey, blue), that Pantone would settle on something soothing.

With its retro history, peach reminds us of 80s bathrooms and hotel foyers, where brights and pastels sat happily together creating a luxe look. It also has a fashionable connection to the Palm Springs style – placed with bright orange from the same colour family and balanced with light blues, greens and white.

This spring, you can expect to see peach-toned clothing, shoes, home furnishings etc. You’ll also see a plethora of peachy plants at the nursery.
With millions of views on social media showing how much we value our wellbeing and purpose in life – nurturing your inner self and those around you – it also tells us that in 2024 we will embrace the warm and fuzzy.
