New Research Shows Heritage Boosts Wellbeing

New research shows that, on average, life satisfaction improves to the value of £515 a year from living near heritage. Historic England has published a new report which shows that the overall wellbeing value for people’s day-to-day encounters with heritage is estimated to be worth £29 billion every year in England.
The National Heritage List for England is the official register of protected historic buildings and sites in England. Currently there are 93 records for Chiswick W4 in LB Hounslow - including Chiswick Park Railway Station, Chiswick Bridge and Chiswick Town Hall. There are 87 listed buildings, 1 scheduled monument, and 6 protected park and garden sites within Chiswick House and Grounds.
In addition, there are 2 records for Chiswick, W4 in LB Ealing: Chiswick Park Underground Station and 18 Queen Anne’s Grove.
Heritage categories include: buildings, scheduled monuments, parks and gardens, battlefields,  and  shipwrecks.
